Obituary of Kevin M. Papp

Kevin M. Papp, 60, of Halfmoon passed away at St. Peter's Hospital, Albany on Wednesday, January 27, 2016 after a short illness. Born in Schenectady, a graduate of Shaker High School and SUNY Brockport, he was the son of the late Peter and Harriet Gamage Papp. He was an Office Manager for Next Financial Group in Cohoes. An avid golfer, he enjoyed going to the Saratoga Race Track. Kevin was a kind and compassionate soul. He supported many organizations to assist those in need. Husband of Margaret Straight of Halfmoon. Uncle of Sean Hotaling of Ballston Spa, Joshua Hotaling of Plattsburgh and Meghan Hotaling of Cohoes. Brother of the late Peter Papp, Jr. Brother-in-law of Sandy Soave of Cohoes. Funeral Monday 9:00am at the DUFRESNE FUNERAL HOME, Inc., 216 Columbia Street, Cohoes. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 2 to 5pm. Interment will follow in Memory Garden's, Colonie.
