Julia Kosarovich Dawson, 96, of Cohoes passed away peacefully at Wesley Health Care Center, Saratoga Springs, NY on Tuesday, December 8, 2015 after a long illness. Born and educated in Cohoes, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Mary Kosarovich. Julia was the last of 15 brothers and sisters. Wife of the late William J. Dawson. Mother of William (Karen) Dawson of Rogers, Ark and Bonnie Lou (James) Kennedy of Halfmoon. Grandmother of Christine (Paul) Klein of Halfmoon, James Kennedy, Jr. of Halfmoon, Corie Lynn (Jordan) Greer of Ark and Jennifer Leah Dawson of Ark, great grandmother of Kathleen Mary Klein, Julianna Marie Klein, Brianna Ashley Kennedy and Meghan Elizabeth Kennedy, also survived by nieces and nephews. Funeral 9:00am Saturday at the Church of the Holy Trinity, Cohoes where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Interment will follow in St. Agnes Cemetery, Cohoes. Relatives and friends may call at the DUFRESNE FUNERAL HOME, Inc., 216 Columbia Street, Cohoes on Friday from 4 to 7pm. The family would like to thank the staff at the Wesley Health Care Center for the care given their mother.
