Doris E. Frazier, 97 of Harvard Street Cohoes and the Eddy Village Green died peacefully on Monday July 27, 2015.
Born and educated in Cohoes, was the daughter of the late Zenon and Maria Lajeunesse Arneault.
Mrs. Frazier was a homemaker, a lifelong communicant of the Church of the Holy Trinity, and a member of the Ladies of St. Anne's Society. Doris belonged to the Powder Puff Bowling League in Cohoes for over 40 years. She is the wife of the late Robert T. Frazier. Doris loved her home, gardening and family.
She is survived by her children Judith M. Smith Heins (Raymond) of Cohoes, Dr. Robert T. Frazier (Marilyn) of Jonesville, and Linda Melanson (Gary) of Cohoes. Grandmother of Christopher Smith, Carleen (Kevin) Snay, Connie (Ray) Coalts, Kimberly Frazier, Aaron (Tanya) Frazier, Andrew (Tina) Frazier, Evan (Hannah) Melanson, Colin Melanson, Siobhan Melanson, and the late Carl Smith. Also survived by 20 Great grandchildren and the late great granddaughter Mary Margaret Frazier, 3 great, great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Sister of the late Lillian Gagnon, Albert Arneault, Pearl Bagley, Lena Marchand, Alfred Arneault and Harvey Arneault.
Funeral Friday 8:30am from the Dufresne Funeral Home, Inc. 216 Columbia St., Cohoes and 9am at the Church of the Holy Trinity where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated.
Interment St. Joseph's Cemetery, Waterford.
Relatives and friends are invited to call at the funeral home on Thursday from 4 to 7pm.
Contributions in Doris memory can be made to Hospice of Rensselaer County.
