Helen J. Polinski, 94, of Watervliet Shaker Road, Latham passed away at Samaritan Hospital, Troy on Thursday, May 14, 2015 after a long illness. She was born and educated in Cohoes and graduated from Mildred Elley School and was the daughter of the late William and Anna Kowal Czaja. She was a secretary-bookkeeper for Marine Midland Bank in Colonie for many years. Predeceased by her husband Michael Polinski and her sister Carolyn Dudar. Survived by her daughter, Patricia Ann LaBarr of Cohoes and her grandson Ronald LaBarr of Cohoes. Funeral Saturday, 11:00 am at the DUFRESNE FUNERAL HOME, Inc., 216 Columbia Street, Cohoes with Rev. James Ebert officiating. Interment will follow in Albany Rural Cemetery, Albany. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday morning from 9:00am to 11:00am.
