Obituary of Jean A Thibodeau

Cohoes – Jean A. Green Thibodeau, 60, of Cohoes died suddenly on Monday, August, 19, 2013. She was born and educated in Cohoes and was the daughter of the late Kenneth and Theresa Tedesco Green. She graduated with a nursing degree from Hudson Valley Community College. She worked at the Eddy-Heritage House in Troy and also worked at the Eddy Cohoes Rehabilitation Center for 24 years. She was a member of St. John’s Episcopal Church in Cohoes. She was an avid crafter/ stamper, card player and she loved her dogs and grand-dogs. She was a wonderful mother, wife, sister, friend and mentor. She was a caring, compassionate and giving person and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, Patrick Thibodeau of Cohoes and her beautiful daughters, Theresa (Teigan Powell) of Cohoes, Kirsten (Chris Nutty) of Buffalo and Kaitlyn (Kyle Wood) of Cohoes; sister of Carol (Art) Stearns of Latham and Janice Green of Cohoes. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, Wit-sister Nancy Colton and dear friends Sheila and George Primeau and Donna and Jim Fedoreshenko. Jean’s family would to thank the City of Cohoes Firefighters/EMT and the ER staff at Samaritan Hospital. Funeral Friday 11:30am at St. John’s Episcopal Church, Vliet Street, Cohoes where a Burial Mass will be offered by Mother Geraldine Clemmons. Interment 2:00pm in Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, Schuylerville, N.Y. Relatives and friends may call at the DUFRESNE FUNERAL HOME, Inc., 216 Columbia Street, Cohoes on Thursday from 4 to 7pm.
