Scott A. Heppelle, 51, of Rensselaer passed away at Albany Medical Center Hospital on Wednesday, November 5, 2014 after a brief illness. Born and educated in Albany and was the son of the late Theodore and Katherine Schermerhorn Heppelle. He was a driver for Capitaland Taxi. Survivors include his children, Crystal Heppelle of Colonie, Francine Heppelle of Cohoes, Sarah Heppelle of Schenectady and Scott Heppelle of Colonie, grandfather of Manny, Mason, Dominic, Esiah, Heaven, Emma, Dylan and Kendelle. Fiancée of Christina Brightbill. Brother of Cathy Alteri, Mike Heppelle, Bobby Heppelle, Cheri Heppelle and the late Theodore Heppelle and Patty Daniels, also survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held Wednesday 6:30pm with Deacon Gerard Matthews officiating. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 5 to 7pm. at the DUFRESNE FUNERAL HOME, Inc., 216 Columbia Street, Cohoes. Inurnment at the convenience of the family.
