Martha G. Jean, 72, formerly of Cohoes passed away at The Springs Nursing & Rehabilitation Centre, Troy on Sunday, October 12, 2014 after a long illness. Born in Cohoes, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Eva Marie Louprette Jean. She is survived by her siblings, Jean Hebert of Troy, Margaret Phil bean of Cohoes, Shirley Vincelette of Long Island, Lionel Jean of Cohoes, Annette King of FL and Robert Jean of Pleasantdale and sister of the late Mitch LaMarre, Theresa Paradis, Leon LaMarre and Louis Jean, also survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral Thursday 11:00am at the DUFRESNE FUNERAL HOME, Inc., 216 Columbia Street, Cohoes with Rev. James Ebert officiating. Interment in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Waterford. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday morning from 10:00am to 11:00am Those who wish to remember Martha in a special way may make a donation to Rensselaer Hospice or to the American Cancer Society in Martha's memory.
