Niskayuna – William P. Langevoort, 89, of Niskayuna died at Ellis Residential and Rehabilitation Center, Schenectady on Thursday, September 18, 2014 after a long illness. Born in Clifton, New Jersey, he was the son of the late Gerrit and Jennie VanLith Langevoort. He worked for many years at Xerox in Boston as a salesman. He was a US Army – Air Corp Veteran. William was predeceased by his wife, Ruth Brandt Langevoort. He is survived by his children, Carol (Reinhold) Wirth of New Mexico, Barbara Clouse of Chicago, ILL, Laurel (Mark) Belanger of No. Carolina and Robert Langevoort of Niskayuna, also survived by 8 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, 1 niece and 1 nephew. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral service on Thursday, September 25, 2014 at 10:30am at the DUFRESNE FUNERAL HOME, Inc., 216 Columbia Street, Cohoes with Rev. Nick TeBordo officiating. Interment in Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, Schuylerville, N.Y.
