Obituary of Katharina Seemann

Cohoes - Katharina Lutz Seemann, 84, of Ziemke Farm Lane, Cohoes died at her residence on Thursday, October 11, 2012 after a brief illness. Born and educated in Budapest, Hungary, she was the daughter of the late Adolph and Anna Sauer Lutz. She immigrated to the United States in 1952. She resided for a time in Cairo, N.Y. before moving to Cohoes. She was a seamstress at Voss Sporting Goods in Roundtop, N.Y. for many years. She was predeceased by her husband, John Seemann, Sr. and her brother Vincent Lutz. She is survived by her children, Linda (David) Cotch, Edith (Anthony) Cochetti and John Seemann, Jr. all of Cohoes. Grandmother of Erik and Rachel Cotch and Anthony and Nicole Cochetti all of Cohoes, also survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral Monday, 10:00am at St. Peter & St. Paul’s Ukrainian Catholic Church, Cohoes. Interment in St. Peter & St. Paul’s Cemetery, Waterford.
