Clifton Park – Donna M. Riley, 79, of Clifton Park passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, April 5, 2026. She was born in Albany and was the daughter of the late William and Mary Clemens Riley, Sr. Donna was a graduate of St. John’s Academy in Rensselaer and SUNY New Paltz where she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education. She taught at St. Thomas Elementary School in Delmar and later taught at the Cohoes City School District for 32 years before her retirement in 2002. She belonged to the Spindle City Historic Society where she was an officer for several years as well as a trustee. She was predeceased by her parents and her brother and sister-in-law William Riley, Jr., and his wife Mary. She is survived by her nephew, Wayne (Kim) Riley of Latham, cousins George Clemens and Michael Clemens. Also survived by her caregivers, Angel Pecak, Ryan Pecak, Pat Gordon, and many devoted friends of 60 years. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mary of the Assumption Church, Waterford on Friday, April 10, 2026, at 10:00am. Interment will follow in Our Lady of Angels Cemetery, Colonie.
