Cohoes – Sarah Jane LaDieu Donnelly, 79, of Cohoes passed away at Albany Medical Center Hospital, on Wednesday, February 25, 2026. She was born in Troy and was the daughter of the late Charles and Florence Renaud LaDieu. She was educated in Cohoes and graduated from Keveny Memorial Academy in Cohoes. Sarah was a Registered Nurse and retired from Samaritan Hospital in Troy after many years of service. Wife of the late Jack Donnelly. Mother of Jennifer Abelove of Cohoes and John T Donnelly, III (Kristen) of Clifton Park, grandmother of Aaron J. Abelove (Melanie) of Troy, MaryElizabeth Abelove (Hailey) of Troy and Patrick Donnelly of Clifton Park. Sister of Barbara (Mark) Vincent of Richmond, VA, niece of Amy Vincent (Glen Dooley) and Owen Vincent Dooley, also survived by her In-Laws Margaret Wilson, Timothy Donnelly and Brian Donnelly and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at the DUFRESNE FUNERAL HOME, Inc., 216 Columbia Street, Cohoes on Monday at 9:30am. Interment will follow at 11:30am at the Gerald B.H.
