Cohoes – June M. Prudhomme, 67, of Cohoes, passed away peacefully at the Eddy Village Green, Cohoes on Friday, January 16, 2026, with her loving family by her side. She was born in Cohoes and was the daughter of the late Stanley Mnich and Helen Lynch. She graduated from Cohoes High School and graduated from Hudson Valley Community College with an Associates Degree in Business. June was a secretary for New York State Department of Labor for over 35 years. She belonged to the PAA in Cohoes, she enjoyed time with her family and friends, loved going to the beach, loved to read and do crossword puzzles. She enjoyed bowling and playing soft ball. Survived by her husband of 44 years, Donald Prudhomme of Cohoes, her children Jamie Prudhomme (Jamie Trudeau) of Cropseyville, NY and Donald Prudhomme of Albany. Grandmother of Savana June and Piper Leigh. Daughter of Robert Lynch of Cohoes. Sister of Patricia (Gavin) Campbell, Antonina Mnich, and Jennifer Lynch (Don Casper), also survived by nieces, nephews, and many friends. Relatives and friends may call at the DUFRESNE FUNERAL HOME, Inc., 216 Columbia Street, Cohoes on Friday, January 23, 2026, from 4 to 7pm. Friends who wish to remember June in a special way may donate to the Community Hospice in her memory.
