Troy-Donna J. O’Brien, 70 passed away on Saturday, January 3, 2026, peacefully, with her children and family by her side, after a courage battle with cancer.

Donna was born in Sumter, South Carolina and graduated from Shenendehowa High School.

She was predeceased in death by her loving parents, Dorothy and Jack Crowmer, her sister Terry Lynn Miller, Son in Law Mark Wood, and the love of her life, her husband Dennis G. O’Brien.

Donna is survived by her children John Michael O’Brien, of Clifton Park, Erin O’Brien-Wood (late Mark) of Glens Falls, Kasey Aloisi (Chris) of Glenmont, McKenzie (Daren) O’Brien Altimari of Florida, and her brother Jackie (Terri Ristau) Crowmer of South Carolina.

Her Grandchildren, who adored her and called her Mama, Andrew Santos, Dylan (Sarah) Hinds, Peyton (Seth) Wood Towne, Sara O'Brien, Westin and Ashtyn Aloisi, Ruby Altimari. Great Grandmother to Katy and Hope Towne. She also leaves behind several cousins, nieces, nephews, and countless friends.

Donna was a lioness, when it came to the ones she loved, she loved fiercely and unconditionally, saw the good in everyone, and was always quick to lend a hand or give support when needed.

Spending time with family, seeing The Rolling Stones in concert (at least 20 times) bingo and music in the park with friends were just few of her favorite things. Donna was both the calm and the storm. She will be remembered for living her life out loud, full of love and laughter.
