Schaghticoke – Sharon Marie Sawyer, 31, of Schaghticoke passed away on Monday, December 29, 2025.

Sharon Marie Sawyer was born in Troy, NY but grew up in Cohoes, NY to father Scott Sawyer (Laura) currently of Wynantskill, and mother Receia LeQue-Hawk (Kirk) currently of Troy, NY. Sharon spent most of her younger years with her four sisters and three brothers-John Bowen, Rachael Cottrell, Tiffany Lisboa, Chantell Sawyer, Scott Sawyer Jr., Steven Sawyer and Saeryn Sawyer. Sharon built her adult life with her longtime soul mate Everett Ostrander of Schaghticoke, NY. They have two beautiful children-Everett Ostrander and McKayla Ostrander. She also had a close bond with her fiancé’s parents Butchy and Shayne who loved her as their own. Sharon was the best mother, sister, and wife that anyone could ask for, and she will be missed greatly. She made everyone smile with her presence. She made sure to let everyone feel that each mattered individually. And that the moments anyone was with her were the center of her world. She cared for each with a tenderness that made them feel safe, cherished, and endlessly supported. She gave her time freely, her patience without limit, and her love without conditions, always putting her family’s needs before her own and finding joy in even the smallest moments shared together. Her kindness was felt in her soft words, her reassuring smile, and the way she made everyone feel seen and valued. Her love created a home filled with peace, laughter, and trust. She was truly beautiful inside and out. Her selfless heart left a lasting imprint on everyone -reminding them every day what true love, grace, and devotion truly mean. Sharon was a success driven, hardworking individual. She gave every position she held her best foot forward and never backed down from a challenge. Her determination and perseverance were admirable to say the least. Her beautiful soul has left us all too soon. Sharon is survived by both parents, all her siblings and countless other relatives and lifelong friends.
