Troy – Margaret A. DeMarco Daigneault, 70, of Troy passed away at Albany Medical Center on Monday, September 1, 2025, with her family by her side. She was born in Cohoes, lived in Green Island most of her life and was the daughter of the late John and Patricia Kenton DeMarco Walsh. Educated at Heatley High School, Green Island and attended Mildred Elley School. Margaret worked for Equity Meat in Cohoes for many years and later retired from LaSalle School in Albany as Secretary after 32 years. She was a NASCAR Fan, bowled for many years and enjoyed camping. A member of the Cohoes Columbiettes Council #192. Most of all she loved being grandmother to her grandson Braxtin. Margaret is survived by her husband, Robert Daigneault, Sr. of Cohoes, her sons Robert (Melissa) Daigneault of Cohoes, Nicholas Daigneault of Cohoes, and the late Tricia Daigneault. Companion of Ronald Jarvis of Troy. Sister of Brian DeMarco of Latham and David DeMarco of Malta and the late John DeMarco, Stepsister Donna Tallman of Watervliet. Grandmother of Braxtin, also survived by her aunt, cousins, nieces, nephews, and camping friends. Services will be held at DUFRESNE FUNERAL HOME, Inc., 216 Columbia Street, Cohoes on Thursday, September 4, 2025, at 7:15 pm. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 4 to 7pm prior to the service.
