Waterford – Paul J. Malette, 69, of Waterford, passed away at Albany Medical Center on Friday, August 8, 2025, with his family by his side. He was born in Albany and was the son of the late Charles and Florence Eitzenburger Malette. He was educated in South Colonie School District and Hudson Valley Community College with an associate’s degree in ECM. Retired electrician from Simmons Tool in Menands. He was an avid bowler for most of his life, liked NY Lottery scratch offs and going to Saratoga Casino. Paul is survived by his wife of 41 years, Deborah Teeling Malette of Waterford. Father of Stephanie (Eric) Keller of Troy and Steven (Elainor) Malette of Hoosick Falls. Brother of Kenneth (Rosemary) Malette of Albany and Kathryn (Glen) Kubista of Port Ewen, NY, also survived by nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the DUFRESNE FUNERAL HOME, Inc., 216 Columbia Street, Cohoes on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, from 4 to 7pm.
