Albany – Jeanne D. McGill, 89, of Abany passed away peacefully with her granddaughter Louise at her house in Pittstown on Wednesday, July 9, 2025, after a brief illness. She was born and educated in Cohoes and was the daughter of the late Alfred and Lena Turcotte Colombe. Jeanne was a bookkeeper for JJ Naughter in Colonie. Gram (Jeanne) was an amazing bowler for years at Green Island Bowl. She went to every BINGO she could find. She also went to the races with her son Tim every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. When the sun was out so was Gram’s golf clubs and off to the range she would go. In her last few years, she would love to craft with Louise at the table and watch her great grandkids play and bring out her smile. Mother of Timothy McGill of Albany, grandmother of Andrew McGill (Kara Waters) of Colonie and great grandmother of Addyson McGill. Also survived by  her granddaughter Louise Rose with Artie, granddaughter Ellie and James Dorward, her great grandson Timothy Ramsey, and her soon-to-be great grandson Leland Dorward. The family would like to send Hospice a special thanks for the care they gave Gram her last month of life. Until we meet again Gram, we all love you. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 15, 2025, at the Dufresne Funeral Home, Inc., 216 Columbia Street, Cohoes at 6:30pm. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 5 to 7pm prior to the service. Inurnment will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Waterford on Thursday at 11:00am.
