Troy – Kevin J. Burgess, 52, of Troy passed away on Sunday July 6, 2025. Kevin was born in Troy on March 15, 1973, to Margaret (Cavanaugh) Cunningham and the late Frederick Burgess. He was raised in Troy and Waterford. He was educated in Waterford schools. He went on to work at Advance Auto and CW Whalen Tent Co. Survivors in addition to his mother are his children, Brian M. Burgess and Logan A. Burgess of Fort Plains. Brother of Michael Ray of Waterford, Scott (Carla) Burgess of Colonie, Christy (Jason) Arsenault of Shodack, Stacey Burgess of Cohoes, Tracy (Richard) Franklin of Troy, Sue Cavanaugh of Troy, and brother of the late Robert E. Ray. Loving uncle of several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 14, 2025, at the Dufresne Funeral Home, Inc., 216 Columbia Street, Cohoes at 6:30pm. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 5 to 7pm. prior to the service.
