
Obituary of Armand E. Bouleris
Malta – Armand E. Bouleris, 93, of Malta, passed away on Easter Sunday, with his devoted wife, Frances, and loving family by his side. Armand was born to the late Edward G. and Olive Guerin Bouleris on October 30th, 1931, in Cohoes where he was raised and educated. He was an Altar Boy at St. Joseph’s Church, Cohoes all through grade school. He lived in Saratoga for many years. Prior to that, he lived in Waterford and Cohoes. He was employed for more than 44 years at Albany International (Albany Felt) retiring in 1990, as a General Supervisor. While with Albany Felt, he traveled to Germany, France, England, and Australia. During the Korean War, he was stationed in occupied Germany for two years returning in 1954 as a corporal. He was the proud owner of a little horse called “Lady” who he showed in many horse shows, winning many ribbons. He was a long-term member of the American Legion Post in Troy. He is survived by his wife, Frances J. LaBelle Bouleris, who he loved dearly, and married in 1951. He was the proud father and survived by two sons, David (Peggy) of Tennessee and James (late Beth Ann) of Ballston Lake. He is survived by his grandchildren, Jason, Stephen, Jennifer, Nadine, Lindsey, and Brooke, who will remember him for the Friday night french fries, as well as twelve great grandchildren. Also survived by his sister, Marguerite Jacques of Cohoes, and brother Edward (Rosemary) Bouleris, of Florida as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister, Janet Laque, brothers, Henry and Joseph Bouleris, and granddaughter, Amber M. Bouleris. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Trinity Parish, Cohoes on Thursday, April 24, 2025, at 10:00am. Interment will follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Waterford. The family will receive friends at the DUFRESNE FUNERAL HOME, Inc., 216 Columbia Street, Cohoes on Wednesday from 4 to 7pm.Friends who wish to remember Armand in a special way may donate to Community Hospice in his memory.
