Cohoes – Edward M. Pilawski, 75, of Cohoes, passed away at St. Peter’s Hospital, Albany on Monday, March 17, 2025. He was born in Troy and was the son of the late Michael and Mary Moreau Pilawski. He graduated from Cohoes High School. Edward retired after many years of service as Manager of Buildings and Grounds/Facility Director at the Albany Institute of History and Art. He liked reading, traveling, and history. He loved his dogs, Raven and Clea. Survived by his wife of 48 years, Darcy Myers Pilawski of Cohoes, his son Brendan (Janell) Pilawski of Clifton Park and his granddaughter Harper. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Augustine’s Church, Lansingburgh on Tuesday, March 25, 2025, at 11:00am.
