Cohoes – Yusef S.M. Fayoumi, 20, of Cohoes passed away at his residence on Monday February 24, 2025. He was born in Albany and graduated from Troy High School. Son of Amy Dayter Fayoumi of Cohoes. At the time of his passing, he was attending trade school in Albany for plumbing and carpentry. He loved to be with his family and friends. He loved music and the art of tattooing. Survivors in addition to his Mother are his Grandmother Emily Dayter of Cohoes and his Grandfather the late Michael Dayter. Nephew of Joann Yelle of Cohoes, Sarah Yelle of Cohoes, and David Dayter of California, also survived by cousins.  Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 7, 2025, at the DUFRESNE FUNERAL HOME, Inc., 216 Columbia Street, Cohoes at 11:00am. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday morning from 9 to 11 prior to the service. There will be a gathering immediatly following the service across the street at The Gathering Place. The family is asking attendees to wear green in Yusef’s memory.
