Melrose – Linda A. Peterson, 79, of Melrose, passed away at Samaritan Hospital, Troy on Tuesday, February 25, 2025. She was born in Troy and was the daughter of the late William and Rose Faraci Joslin. Linda graduated from Catholic Central High School, Troy. She worked for the State of New York for many years. She was an avid NY Giants Fan. Linda is survived by her husband of 60 years, Carl Peterson of Melrose. Mother of Darcy (Robert) Morris of Vale, NC, Tracy (John W.) Watson of Waterford and Scott C. (Lori) Peterson of Hastings, NY, grandmother of Tara (Simeon) Brock, Luke (Sara) Morris, Courtney (Brian) Rickson, Adam (Karen) Morris, Amanda (Christian) Stalker, great grandmother of Cameron (Roselyan) Brock, Harper (Jane) Stalker and Ariya Lynn Morris.  Sister of the late William C. Joslin, Jr., John F. Joslin, Sr., and Barbara Mancucci. Also survived by her good friend Marlene Powers. At the request of the family, there are no viewing hours.
