Troy, Richard T. Nardi, 90, of Troy, passed away at his home on Monday, September 5, 2017 after a short illness. Born in Brooklyn, NY, educated in Averill Park schools, and was a lifelong resident of the capital district. He was the son of the late Thomas and Sophia Bodnar Nardi. Richard was a World War II Navy veteran and a self-employed contractor. Husband of the late Eleanor Nardi and Rose Nardi. Father of Marie Noel Nardi (Don) Davis, Linda Fretto and Patricia Durrant and several grandchildren. Brother of Phillip (Fran) Nardi, also survived by nieces and nephews. Companion of Patricia Bryan and her family, Kevin and Pam Black, Theresa Devine and Patty Stockman. At Dick's request, there are no viewing hours.
