Obituary of Ralph Peltier
Ralph J. Peltier, Jr. 65, formerly of Cohoes and Green Island passed away at Samaritan Hospital, Troy on Monday, July 24, 2017 after a short illness. Born and educated in Cohoes, he is the son of Ralph Peltier of Kingston and Shirley Shaw Peltier of New Jersey. Ralph was a bartender at the Cohoes Bowling Arena, Green Island Bowl and Uncle Sam Lanes for many years. He was an avid Miami Dolphins fan, he liked betting on the horses and quickdraw. Husband of the late Doris Walsh Peltier. Father of Ralph (Danielle) Peltier, III of Latham, Timothy (Jamie) Peltier of Cohoes and Christy Stoliker of Waterford. Grandfather of Jordan and Conor Peltier, Katelynn McGreevy and Chase Bauerschmidt. Brother of Michael Peltier of Schenectady, Stephen Peltier of Latham, James Peltier of Troy and Eric Shaw of New Jersey, nephew of Mary (Denny) Charette also survived by several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral Friday, 10:00am at the DUFRESNE FUNERAL HOME, Inc., 216 Columbia Street, Cohoes, with Deacon Charles Valenti officiating. Interment will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Waterford. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 4 to 7pm. Those who wish to remember Ralph in a special way may make a donation to the American Cancer Society in his memory.
