Earl B. Dame, 64, of Cohoes passed away at Samaritan Hospital, Troy on Thursday, December 22, 2016 after a short illness. Born and educated in Cohoes, he was the son of the late Earl and Beulah Whalen Dame. Earl retired from the Cohoes DPW after 38 years of service. He is survived by his children, Earl R. Dame of Cohoes, Tracey Dame of Waterford and Shawn L. (Brandi) Dame of Waterford, step-father of Jamie. Grandfather of Nicole, Brandon, Britnay, Avery and Kevin. Brother of Linda and the late Donna and Sandy. Also survived by niece Amy and nephews Kenneth and Mark. At Earl's request, there are no viewing hours. Those who wish to remember Earl in a special way may donate in his memory to the American Cancer Society, 1 Penny Lane, Latham, NY 12110.
