Obituary of Jean L. Polson

Ballston Spa – Jean Lillian Morrison Polson, 88, of Ballston Spa passed away at Saratoga Hospital, Saratoga Springs, NY on Saturday, March 24, 2018 after a long illness.  Born and educated in Aberdeen, Scotland, her family moved to the United States in 1958.  She was a Nurses’ Aide at Wesley Nursing Home in Saratoga Springs.  Most importantly she was a housewife, Mom, grandmother and great grandmother.  Jean is survived by her husband, James M. Polson of Ballston Spa, her sons James Polson of Charlottesville, Virginia and Robert Polson of Clifton Park, her grandchildren Cameron, Kyle, Rob and Tyler and her great-grandchildren Willow and Gillespie.  Sister of Christina Mutch and Brian Morrison and the late Margaret Wagner, Robert Morrison, John Morrison and David Morrison, also survived by several nieces and nephews. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, 6:30pm at the DUFRESNE FUNERAL HOME, Inc., 216 Columbia Street, Cohoes.  Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4 to 7pm.  Those who wish to remember Jean in a special way may donate to the American Cancer Society in her memory.  For directions and guest registry, www.dufresnefuneralhome.com.
