Loretta M. Oettinger, 90 resident of Eddy Village Green, Cohoes formerly of Boulevard Gardens, Woodside NY. Died peacefully on August 15, 2016 after a long illness.
Born and educated in New York City and was the daughter of the late Frederick and Teresa Daly Lohr.
Loretta worked for the New York State Division of Cemeteries.
Wife of the late Harry J. Oettinger.
Mother of Harry (Marianne) Oettinger of Saratoga and Teresa Oettinger Montani (William) of New Jersey.
Grandmother of Harry and James Oettinger, and great grandmother of Claire Oettinger.
Sister of the late Frederick Lohr and Teresa Sichler.
Funeral Tuesday 9AM at the Church of the Holy Trinity, Cohoes where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Interment in the Cemetery of the Holy Rood, Westbury, NY.
The family would like to thank all the staff at Eddy Village Green who lovingly cared for our mother and showed her exceptional kindness over the past five years.
