Bryan A. Chouinard, 55, of Mechanicville died on Thursday July 14, 2016 at Westchester Medical Center after a long illness. Born and educated in Cohoes, the son of Roland C. Chouinard and Doris LeBlanc Holdshoe. Beloved husband of Lorene Chouinard of Mechanicville. Father of Jacob Austin Chouinard of Mechanicville, Joel Chouinard of Glens Falls, Valerie Brock Lavigne of Schaghticoke, Brian Chouinard of West Palm, FL., Victor, Bryant and Veronica Vaughn all of West Palm, FL., grandfather of Damien Chouinard, Nora and Sadie Lavigne. Brother of Mark Chouinard of Cambridge, Kenneth Chouinard of Mechanicville, Scott Gregoire of Ballston Spa, and Beth Getwright of Ballston Spa, also survived by other relatives and his beloved service dog Honey. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday July 23, 2016 from 2 to 7pm at the American Legion Post 91, 427 S. Main St. Mechanicville. Please bring a pot luck dish. Those who wish to remember Bryan in a special way may make a donation to Jacob A. Chouinard.
