Obituary of Janet M. Bouchard

Janet M. Bouchard, 84, of Cohoes passed away at her residence on Wednesday, February 25, 2015. Born and educated in Cohoes, a graduate of St. Michael's School and Catholic Central High School. Daughter of the late Anthony F. and Mary I. Olszowy Kustrowski. She was a purchasing agent for Cohoes Memorial Hospital and later retiring from the Leonard Hospital. Janet enjoyed reading, needlework, traveling to Maine with her family and visiting historical sites of the Civil War. Survivors include her children, Marnette (Walter) Ensel of Averill Park, Marcel (Mary) Bouchard, Jr. of Cohoes, David (Belinda) Bouchard of Saratoga Springs, Diane (Robert) LaPlante of Waterford, Suzanne (Brian) Miller of Douglasville, GA. and the late Jeannette Bouchard. Sister of the late Anthony J. Kustrowski. Grandmother of Nathan and Amy Ensel, Steven Bouchard, Michael and Amanda LaPlante and Katharine Bouchard. Funeral Monday 9:00am at the DUFRESNE FUNERAL HOME, Inc., 216 Columbia Street, Cohoes with Deacon Gerard Matthews officiating. Interment will follow in St. Michael's Cemetery, Waterford. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 3 to 6pm. Those who wish to remember Janet in a special may make a donation to the Church of the Holy Trinity food pantry.
