William Howard Hull, 93, died Sunday January 11, 2015 at the Eddy Village Green, Cohoes after a long illness where he was a resident since May 2013. He was born and educated in Cohoes and was youngest son of Hiram Edward and Hilda Krause Hull. He was a second generation Chrysler Corporation Charter Dealer in Cohoes and former resident of Cohoes, Clifton Park and Latham, N.Y. For many years William was active in Troy area New Car Dealer Association. He was a member of the Board of Directors of the Eddy Foundation, was a member of the Rotary Club of Cohoes for nearly 50 years and the Masonic Lodge. He was a Sargent in the Army Air Corps during WWII. He was also an active golfer for many years. He retired after more than 50 years in the family auto business, vacationed with his family and enjoyed many more years of life. He is survived by his wife of 25 years Jean M. Zeto O’Neil-Hull. Was predeceased by his brothers Alex and Raymond and was previously married for 45 years to Irene Evertsen Hull who passed away in 1988. He survived by his children Carole (Charles) White of Waterford, Gayle (James) Benoit of Latham, Madeline (Lawrence) Heid of Watervliet and William H. (Deborah) Hull of Newtown, Ct. Also survived be 3 Step – Children Robert (Meg) Morse of Saratoga Springs, Jean A.(Brian) Fay and Sandra M. Farley both of Clifton Park, also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Funeral Wednesday, 10:00am at the DUFRESNE FUNERAL HOME, Inc., 216 Columbia Street, Cohoes with his son-in-law Lawrence Heid officiating. Interment will be in Memory’s Garden, Colonie. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4 to 7pm.
