Obituary of James C. Mosher

Stillwater – Rev. Doctor James C. Mosher, of Stillwater, passed away at Wesley Health Care Center, Saratoga Springs, Saturday, November 22, 2014 with his loving family by his side, after a short illness. Born in Pittsburgh, Pa., he received his Masters of Divinity at the Lutheran Theological Seminary in Gettysburg, Pa. and his Doctorate Degree at the University of Pittsburgh. Son of the late James and Dorothy Carole Mosher. He was a Presbyterian Minister for many years, serving as Pastor at Woodside Presbyterian Church in Troy, Shamokin, Pa for 8 years and Monaca, Pa. for 13 years and for the past 10 years he was associated with the United Church of Cohoes. He also worked at Hudson Valley Community College as Director of Cooperative Education. His two loves were teaching and sports. He is survived by his wife, Mary Martha Towler Mosher of Stillwater, his daughters Marla K. Mosher of Anchorage, Alaska and Amy Joanne (Jon) Duval of Grafton and his granddaughter Kelly Shea Mosher. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, 11:00am at the United Church of Cohoes with Pastor Nick TeBordo officiating. Interment in Elmwood Cemetery, Schaghticoke at the convenience of the family.
